Ben Diamond has 15 years of systems experience in the healthcare field.
As a Systems Engineer and Special Projects Manager at MedE America, he
designed and implemented a large-scale network scanning and viewing
solution that enabled New York City Pre-Natal Care programs to reduce
the documentation and enrollment turnaround time for patients from upwards
of eight months down to 48 hours. In his previous employment, Mr.
Diamond was the Senior Network Systems Engineer for the Eastman Kodak
Company's "Office Imaging" division. At Kodak, Mr. Diamond designed
and implemented scores of custom networking and integration solutions,
enabling Kodak and its customers to streamline their processes, reduce
costs, and maximize efficiency. Mr. Diamond has published several
articles on technology. Recent articles on "PPP Networking for
Solaris" and "Solaris Backup and Recovery" have appeared in recent issues
of Sys Admin Magazine (CMP).
